Yucca brown tips

Stable dry points on old leaves can be cosmetic. New widespread browning, yellow leaves, or a soft cane requires checking moisture and root health.

Water deeply when the pot is ready

Let the mix dry well into the pot, then water evenly and drain. A dry surface in a deep container does not prove the lower root ball is dry. Move the plant out of hot airflow and give strong light.

Trim dead points with a narrow brown margin left beside the green blade. Keep central growing tissue intact. A soft cane needs the soft-cane guide, not a larger drink.
