Inspect leaves, stems, and soil

Look for scale bumps, cottony mealybugs, fine mite stippling, and honeydew. If found, separate and treat using the pest guide.

Water a dry root ball evenly and drain; empty runoff from a wet pot. Improve light if new shoots are thin and stretched. A soft stem base or persistent wet-soil wilt calls for a root inspection.
