Minerals and uneven watering leave a steady edge burn
Peace lilies can show tip burn when salts collect in the mix or when the root ball swings from dry to saturated. White crust on the soil or pot rim is a useful clue, especially if tips worsen after repeated tap-water watering.
Flush the pot occasionally with room-temperature water and let excess drain away. Then water by pot weight, not by calendar, so the plant stays evenly moist without sitting wet.
