Parlor Palm brown tips

Repeated dry spells, hot airflow, and accumulating fertilizer salts can brown fine leaflet tips. Stable tips on old fronds need no change if new fronds remain sound.

Water evenly without leaving runoff

Water after the upper mix dries, making sure the center absorbs moisture. Empty the cover pot. Reduce excessive feeding and flush deposits only when a healthy-rooted, freely draining plant needs water.

Inspect for mites if leaflets are stippled or dusty. Clip dead points if desired, keeping a narrow brown margin. Retain green fronds and never cut the growing point at the top of a palm stem.
