Money Tree yellow leaves

A braided money tree contains several trunks, and one can decline while its neighbors remain healthy. Follow yellowing leaves back to their trunk and feel its base.

Firm trunks

Check the root ball before watering. A light, dry pot needs an even watering and drainage; a wet pot needs its runoff emptied and time to dry in the upper layers. After a move, provide bright indirect light and stable warmth.

A soft base or expanding damaged area

A dark bark color alone is not a rot sign. If the base softens, or a new damaged area expands while that trunk declines, unpot and inspect its roots. Remove rotten tissue or a fully dead trunk without tearing healthy neighbors apart. Replant healthy parts at their original depth in fresh mix fitted to the surviving roots.
