Anthurium brown tips

A very coarse mix may dry faster than expected; decomposed fine mix may remain wet. Either can leave anthurium tips brown if roots cannot supply water consistently.

Match watering to the actual mix

Water as the upper mix begins to dry, wetting the root ball evenly and draining runoff. If the plant wilts while the mix stays wet, inspect roots before adding more water or flushing salts.

White crust and frequent feeding suggest salt buildup. Reduce excess fertilizer and flush healthy, freely draining pots at a normal watering. Move foliage away from heating airflow and trim dead points only for appearance.
